Job Summary
Oversee execution of EMEA and APAC statutory reporting projects, including financial statement preparations, audits, and filings across 20 jurisdictions. Provide direction to Accenture resources for audit support and manage project roadblocks while ensuring compliance with local GAAP requirements. Draft new disclosures, review trial balance adjustments, and prepare complex audit area reports on impairment, AR reserves, and lease modifications. Coordinate cross-functionally with accounting, tax, legal, and treasury teams to maintain efficient communications with external service providers and summarize weekly project status.
Required Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- 5+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience
- IFRS reporting experience
- Ability to independently oversee several projects with competing priorities at a given time
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Confident decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience either working closely with auditors or as an auditor
- Basic knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience working with multinational companies and global markets
- Knowledge of Workday and Alteryx
