Job Summary
Manager - International Tax and Transactions Services (Business Tax Services) leads tax engagements, supervises junior staff, and delivers innovative tax planning ideas for diverse clients. Partners with clients to unlock value, stays up-to-date on tax developments, coaches staff, identifies opportunities for tax planning and other services, and maintains confidentiality of client relationships and work products. Requires a BCom Honours degree (accounting) with at least 5 years of SA corporate tax experience; Big 4 experience preferred. Strong supervisory, analytical, leadership, project management, and communication skills; ability to meet tight deadlines; professional, mature, and proactive approach.
Required Qualifications
- BCom Honours degree in accounting/accounting sciences (completed or in progress higher diploma / master’s degree in taxation favourable)
- Minimum of 5 years South African corporate tax experience
- Big 4 firm experience preferable
- Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability
- Commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
- Process oriented with excellent documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Mature, proactive, committed, highly motivated and driven team player
