Job Summary
Manager, Internal Communications role based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, with hybrid work requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office. Develop and execute internal communications strategies across corporate affairs, events, and culture; collaborate with stakeholders to create content for intranet, company-wide emails, town halls, leadership meetings, and annual leadership events; act as Vancouver-based event lead for internal and external gatherings, manage budgets, logistics, and vendor relationships; coordinate executive offsites and alignment with CEO and stakeholders; plan for remote employee communications and future field teams; ensure Xenon’s visual identity across materials; oversee contract and invoice tracking within Corporate Affairs; drive process improvements and support external communications and patient advocacy as needed. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in communications/PR roles (biopharma or life sciences preferred), strong writing and presentation skills, employee engagement experience, event planning expertise, organization, and ability to work in an agile environment.
