Job Summary
Lead or co-lead intellectual property engagements by strategizing approaches, developing workplans, and monitoring critical path items. Oversee and actively participate in research, modeling, and financial and economic analysis of financial statements, accounting records, and tax returns. Assist with drafting expert reports and preparing analyses for patent, copyright, trademark infringement, and trade secret misappropriation matters. Develop and mentor team members while building trusted client relationships through responsive communication and dependable project management. Help build and expand the team's use of emerging AI tools to enhance research and document workflows. Manage client communications and support the growth and reputation of the practice through business development and thought leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year undergraduate degree with a concentration in economics, finance, mathematics and/or accounting
- 3-6 years of relevant professional experience in damages quantification, preferably related to intellectual property disputes
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly convey ideas
- Strong analytical and technical skills in finance, economics, and/or accounting with the ability to critically analyze financial statements, accounting records, tax returns, and other financial documents
- Significant experience assisting with the preparation of expert reports and supporting analyses
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Team management experience is a welcome plus
- Openness to and curiosity about thoughtfully integrating AI tools into the engagement workflow
