Job Summary
Craft copy in the LA28 brand voice for social, web, app and email, including video scripts; interpret and implement messaging strategies across multiple channels; copyedit all written content produced by the marketing team; brainstorm original social-first content aligned with key brand initiatives; develop messaging briefing documents; organize and track incoming copy requests; collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure copy approval and legal clearance; support strategic and conceptual projects such as positioning, messaging development, campaign ideation and naming strategies; thrive in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment while protecting the LA28 brand; this role reports to the Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5+ years of copywriting experience; proficiency with multiple brand voices; experience with content approvals and project management tools; strong Microsoft Office skills; comfort with AI tools; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and deliver flawless copy; onsite work in Downtown Los Angeles; base salary range $88,000-$115,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years of copywriting experience in-house or at an agency
- Experience with mastering multiple complex brand voices with nuanced stylization systems
- Experience in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple projects and priorities at once
- Familiarity with content, approvals and project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, inclusive of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Comfortable working with AI tools, preferably Google Gemini
- Skilled deck-maker and presenter
