Job Summary
The Manager, Insurance Sales will drive revenue growth and advisor adoption of insurance solutions, including life, long‐term care, and disability products. This role requires leading sales initiatives, partnering with growth teams, and managing a team of insurance sales specialists. Candidates should have significant experience in sales management within the insurance sector, proven leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Strong qualifications include a bachelor's degree, active insurance licenses, and experience in training and advising sales teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of sales management experience within the insurance industry.
- 10+ years of experience in insurance sales, including life, long‐term care, and disability products.
- Active Life and Health Insurance license.
- Series 7 and/or Series 6 registration.
- Strong working knowledge of insurance applications and underwriting processes.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
- Expertise in sales strategy, campaign execution, product positioning, and sales performance management.
- Strong understanding of advisor needs, service excellence standards, and satisfaction measurement.
- Strategic planning, resource allocation, talent development, and cross‐functional coordination.
- Curriculum development, instructional delivery, and measurement of training effectiveness for individuals and groups.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced professional designations such as CFP®, CLU®, or ChFC®.
- Proven experience partnering with senior leaders on enterprise‐level sales initiatives.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and lead through collaboration.
