Job Summary
Manager oversees discovery and qualification of R&D tax relief opportunities for client companies, coordinates consultants, documents activity, analyzes technical and financial data, writes technical narratives, defends claims with HMRC, leads business development, client management, deliver training, and publish resources. Responsibilities include thoroughly documenting activity on internal systems, exploring potential R&D expenditure with business leaders, evaluating technical baselines and challenges, preparing robust narratives and reports, managing complex claim compilations with directors/C-level executives, ensuring compliance with HMRC guidelines, and supporting continued thought leadership through articles and materials. The role spans client engagement across industries and involves end-to-end servicing from lead generation to defence of claims, with a focus on accurate qualification and communication of technical and financial justifications.
Required Qualifications
- Professional qualification, or degree, such as a Bachelors, Masters, AAT or ATT (or willing to work towards qualification)
