Job Summary
Manage IT department operations by overseeing system installations, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing application support while directing staff to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate multiple application projects, manage the Change Control process, and maintain vendor relationships to optimize group performance under limited resources. Demonstrate clinical and business knowledge to identify appropriate system solutions, ensure data utilization through policy and training, and handle fiscal management of the department. Adhere to safety training and exposure control plans while fostering positive employee relations and professional interactions within the healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- One to three years of information technology management experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Three to five years of information technology experience (preferably in healthcare) including application development, application support and change control
