Job Summary
Manager and ISSE SME role leading a team of 12+ ISSEs in cybersecurity across systems, software, and networks. Responsibilities include managing direct reports, performing CAM duties, writing proposals, improving processes, and ensuring security requirements are implemented per ICD 503 and RMF. Directly execute on programs, support accreditation activities, collaborate with design engineers on secure architecture, perform dynamic/static code analysis, develop secure Linux OS, and track vulnerabilities and patches. Prepare Risk Assessment Reports, System Security Plans, and security artifacts to obtain Authorization to Operate for fielded systems. Travel up to 15% CONUS/OCONUS. Requires DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification and Security+ or equivalent with CISSP, NIST 800-53 proficiency, and TS/SCI clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM
- 9+ years of Information Security experience (or graduate degree with 7+ years)
- Active TS/SCI clearance required upon start
- DoD 8570/8140 approved baseline certification and Security+ or equivalent with CISSP
- Experience with RMF and NIST 800-53
- Ability to develop documentation such as RAR, SSP, SCTM for ATO
- Strong interfacing with customers and accreditation officials
- Experience in secure software development practices and vulnerability management
- Travel up to 15% CONUS/OCONUS
