Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of the Industrial Services Department, managing quality assurance, marketing and sales, client relationships, and staff development. Provide technical coordination for industrial mechanical projects and review RFPs to lead proposal submissions. Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support recruiting and hiring initiatives with Human Resources. Maintain positive client relationships while identifying growth opportunities in New Brunswick. Partner with the Market Sector Vice President to support employee relations and staff conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation, or eligibility for registration with APEGNB
- 15 or more years of related engineering experience
- minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity
- A strong record of direct relevant experience in pulp and paper industry
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with customers and vendors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, and Project)
