Job Summary
Drive medium to large scale process improvements within manufacturing, leading ramp-up efforts and delivering gains in manufacturability, assembly ease, and throughput. Manage the IE team's performance while planning and executing projects for manufacturing cells and lines, focusing on yield improvement, capacity enhancement, and labor cost reduction. Understand production schedules, engineering specifications, and process flows to resolve operational bottlenecks and design efficient manufacturing layouts. Provide Design for Assembly and Serviceability input to downstream operations and maintain work standards using time studies across all processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum BS degree in an engineering discipline (i.e. IE, EE, ME)
- Minimum 6+ years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills to interface with employees at all levels of the organization
- Group presentation skills
- Possesses superior multi-tasking skills and the ability to lead a team to meet concurrent project deadlines
- Well versed with data systems (SAP, SAP HANA, Snowflake, and O9) and data manipulation and reporting packages (Tableau, Excel)
- Track record of being able to drive process and cultural change
- Minimal travel required (estimate 0-5%)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2- 3 years managing technical personnel or leading project teams
- Ability to overcome obstacles to drive change and resolve problems
- Working understanding of GMP and GDP practices and requirements
- Knowledge of cleanroom practices and policies
- Facility design and construction management experienced
