Job Summary

Manager, Indirect Category Management Procurement at Regeneron (Hyderabad, India) within a hybrid work model. Lead a team of associates and specialists to transform internal and external analytics into insights that enable global indirect category management strategies. Define and implement global indirect category strategies aligned to regional and global business needs. Deliver market and spend analyses, supplier evaluation, and risk insights to support strategy development and partner engagement. Collaborate with data and analytics teams to identify trends and forecast future strategy direction. Facilitate sourcing processes by preparing RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs and managing response collection, analysis, and comparative evaluation across sourcing and SRM events. Maintain, standardize, and optimize category management templates, strategy decks, and stage-gate materials while improving procurement tools and repositories. Lead contract management activities, oversee team execution, and report category management enablement requests in line with engagement plans. Exhibits strong relationship-building, influence, and integrity in a global, matrixed environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with progressive procurement experience
  • Pharma/Biopharma experience preferred
  • Proven experience leading teams, processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories in a multinational environment
  • Strong expertise in category management principles including market analysis, spend analysis, supplier evaluation, and risk management
  • Experience transforming data and market intelligence into actionable insights to enable category strategies
  • Experience managing and developing associate and specialist-level professionals, including performance management, coaching, and career development
  • Ability to build influential relationships with collaborators and suppliers to get results
  • Experience in contract management and supporting sourcing and supplier relationship management activities
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle and Source-to-Pay platforms (Oracle, Zycus, GEP, Ariba, or similar) preferred
  • Proficiency in standard business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to operate with integrity, focus, and clarity in ambiguous environments and inspire change and continuous improvement
