Job Summary
Oversee overall operations and financial results of Hospital, Medical, and Infectious Waste Incinerator facilities, collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, Transportation, Safety, and Environmental Compliance teams. Select, train, and develop managers, supervisors, and plant workers while managing regulatory documentation, permit renewals, and state/local regulatory contacts. Ensure 100% compliance with EPA, OSHA, DOT, and CEMS rules through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Provide financial forecasting, manage capital expense projects, and review payroll, expense reports, and revenue/volume data. Address customer feedback and transportation issues to enhance loyalty. Work with other facility managers to identify best practices and improve productivity. This exempt position supports a 24/7 facility with 40 team members, requiring flexibility in work hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in management or Environmental related field preferred, or related equivalent in related work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in logistics and plant operations environment, demonstrating the ability to manage people in a manufacturing and/or transportation environment.
- The ideal candidate would have over 5 years of experience leading a team in an industrial operational and/or regulatory compliant environment.
- Must be flexible and willing to adjust work hours based on business needs.
