Job Summary
Inbound Logistics Manager responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive inbound logistics strategy to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines for raw materials and components. Lead supplier negotiation, performance metrics, and adherence to quality standards; manage inbound transportation, warehousing support, and inventory control; leverage data analytics and logistics software to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement; collaborate cross-functionally with production planning, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure smooth material flow; implement best practices in inventory management, forecasting, and supplier relationship management; ensure compliance with transportation, import/export regulations and environmental sustainability; provide leadership and mentorship to a logistics team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in inbound logistics management within the automotive, manufacturing, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of transportation management, inventory control, and procurement processes
- Proficiency in ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing logistics team
