Job Summary
Lead the Taco Bell unit by ensuring cost control across food, labor, and cash while driving sales growth through improvements in 5 Bells, CORE, and speed of service. Manage staffing levels, conduct performance appraisals, and oversee the hiring process for crew members and shift leaders. Maintain restaurant cleanliness, ensure legal and safety compliance, and handle guest complaints to facilitate repeat business. Perform hands-on duties including food preparation, cash register handling, and equipment preventative maintenance. Provide daily operational feedback to the area coach and foster a positive work environment through effective coaching and training.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Possess a minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Have open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed
- Basic math and reading skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude
- Comes to work with good hygiene
- Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time
- Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees
- A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Strong preference for an internal promote who has completed all required learning zone training and certifications
