Job Summary
Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) at VIP location in Tilton, NH will learn VIP culture and management processes to lead a team and ensure safe, compliant operations, deliver exceptional customer experience, hire and develop a team, oversee scheduling and training, and coordinate with management to meet service goals. The role emphasizes safety, staff development, adherence to policies, and hands-on supervision of store operations, with responsibilities including coaching, training on LMS content, ensuring ASE certifications, managing work orders and dispatch, and participating in off-site trainings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1– Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
