Job Summary
Manage monthly income and expense budgets by reviewing financial performance reports and setting strategy for revenue management and expense control. Conduct market analysis monthly to implement leasing strategies, prioritize leasing for office associates, and negotiate lease renewals to promote resident retention. Oversee staff by managing performance evaluations, recruiting associates, and handling staff issues promptly while preparing and approving payroll records. Ensure property operations by completing pre-move out inspections, scheduling maintenance tasks, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining inventory and equipment to meet quality standards. Process resident applications, move-in orientations, and all reporting tasks accurately and on time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in property management or related field
- 7+ years of management experience
- Successful completion of the Manager in Training curriculum within 12 months
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis
- Experienced in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Working knowledge of English
- Detail oriented
- Well organized
- Must agree to a criminal background check
- Sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing
- Must have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation at all times
- Driver's license, vehicle and vehicle insurance must be valid and unexpired at all times
- Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed
- Willing and able to be assigned to other Weidner properties as needed
- Prompt, regular attendance
- Wear company dress code/uniform & maintain professional appearance at all times
- Work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and/or independently
Desired Qualifications
- Yardi and Paycom experience
- Willing and able to learn new software programs
