Job Summary
Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) to learn VIP culture and management processes to lead a team, ensure safe operation, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and help the location meet VIP programs and standards. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a team, ensuring required LMS training and vendor training, ensuring ASE certifications for associates, scheduling to meet customer needs, effective team communication, monitoring customer appointments, implementing the 5 for 5 process with customers, dispatching work orders to technicians, attending off-site training, and maintaining facility and equipment, while ensuring compliance with the service Code of Ethics and all applicable regulations. The role requires strong leadership and communication, a solid understanding of automotive servicing, and the ability to manage daily store operations, safety, and customer service. This position operates on a standard 5-day work week with a minimum of 50 hours per week, and inclusion of duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
