Job Summary
Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) role focused on learning VIP’s management processes to lead a team and ensure safe, compliant operation while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities include hiring and developing an effective team, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, ensuring ASE certifications, scheduling to meet customer needs, effective communication through daily huddles and meetings, managing work orders and dispatch, and participating in off-site training. The position emphasizes safety, adherence to service codes, and policy administration, with a 5-day workweek and minimum 50 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certifications C1, P2, G1 recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
