Job Summary
Oversee gym operations to ensure positive member experience and financial success while managing staff recruitment, hiring, training, and development. Handle front desk tasks, member tours, and service issues, providing backup support to the Club Manager and supervising team members during their absence. Prepare new hire paperwork, manage shift schedules, ensure gym cleanliness, and assist with marketing efforts, supply ordering, and inventory tracking. Implement company policies and coach staff to meet performance standards. Complete the MIT training guide to prepare for future club manager positions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Prior leadership experience
- Successful completion and demonstration of MIT training guide
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time
