Job Summary
The Manager in Training assists the Store Manager with overall store operations, products knowledge across departments, and promotional activities. Responsible for supervising in the Store Manager’s absence, driving exceptional customer service, merchandising, inventory awareness, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Emphasizes selling services and merchandise, protecting company assets, and training/ guiding employees to meet store goals and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Retail experience preferred in footwear and athletic apparel
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Team-player
- Self-starter with initiative
