Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager with overall operations and administrative duties. The Manager in Training is knowledgeable in each product area or department, helps determine methods to accomplish store goals, and upholds policies and standards. Acts as an ambassador creating a unique customer experience, promoting merchandise and services, and assisting in achieving sales/promotional goals. Serves as acting supervisor in the Store Manager’s absence and is trained in Store Manager responsibilities. Produce extraordinary customer service, guide staff to meet department responsibilities, manage inventory and expenses, and ensure profitability. Duties include directing staff, communicating with the Store Manager, and maintaining policy compliance and asset protection.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail environment
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
