Job Summary
Lead overall leadership and direct supervision for a Taco Bell unit, ensuring profitable operations through high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, and speed of service. Perform hands-on operational work to train employees, respond to guest needs, and role-model appropriate skills. Control cost categories including food, labor, and cash while driving sales growth via 5 Bells, CORE, and food quality improvements. Maintain adequate staffing levels, conduct performance appraisals, and manage the hiring process for crew and managers. Coach all team members to expected certification levels, ensure compliance with local laws, verify safety environments, and follow preventative maintenance procedures. Handle guest complaints and prepare food or process cash as required. Provide timely feedback to the area coach through daily calls and weekly meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed
- Basic math and reading skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude
- Comes to work with good hygiene
- Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time
- Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees
- A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Strong preference for an internal promote who has completed all required learning zone training and certifications
