Job Summary
Manager-in-Training to lead a team at VIP’s Littleton, NH location, learning VIP culture and management processes to ensure safe operations, exceptional customer experience, and execution of VIP programs. Responsibilities include hiring and developing the team, ensuring LMS and vendor training, ensuring ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1) where applicable, coordinating scheduling and daily communications, training on the 5 for 5 process, dispatching work orders to technicians, attending training sessions, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing the service code of ethics, and ensuring compliance with municipal, state, and federal regulations. Requires strong leadership, verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills, automotive servicing knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Standard work week is five days with a minimum of 50 hours; two-year college or technical training recommended; applicable ASE certifications and state inspections may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
