Job Summary
Manager-in-Training at VIP Automotive Services in Lawrence, MA learns VIP management processes to lead a team in delivering safe, high-quality automotive service and exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include hiring and developing staff, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, achieving ASE certifications, scheduling to meet customer needs across all hours, coordinating communication and daily huddles, supervising work orders and technician dispatch, and maintaining facility and equipment standards. Requires strong leadership, verbal/written communication, organizational and time-management skills, automotive servicing knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and ASE certifications (C1 required; P2 and G1 recommended). Standard work week is five days with at least 50 hours; exposure to various safety and regulatory requirements and a service-department environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
