Job Summary
Manager on Duty role for Golf Shop staff focusing on registering daily golfers, on-course play administration, and delivering a comprehensive guest experience. Responsibilities include supervising golf shop operations, scheduling staffing to ensure coverage, resolving guest concerns, coordinating with Hospitality Manager and other managers, managing daily and overnight guest check-ins/outs, coordinating housekeeping for room status, assisting with reservations, and performing front desk tasks including POS operations, merchandise handling, and guest registration. The position emphasizes customer service, guest satisfaction, and hands-on leadership during a full-season schedule (approximately 40–50 hours per week, May–October 2026).
Required Qualifications
- Genuine customer service skills
- Maintain a professional appearance including uniform and conduct
- Self-motivated, punctual, detail oriented, and has a willingness to learn
- Prior experience in the golf course, hotel, or club industry is preferred
- Completed or enrolled in an accredited hospitality or PGM program is preferred
- Previous golf management software and operating a POS system is preferred
- Lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work a full season May - October
