Job Summary
The Manager in Training assists the Store Manager with overall store operations and administrative duties, gaining knowledge across product areas, promoting sales and store promotions, and serving as an ambassador of Hibbett I City Gear to deliver outstanding customer service. The role includes assuming supervisory responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence, guiding staff across departments on selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling, monitoring inventory and customer trends, and upholding company policies and procedures to support profitability and a positive customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail environment
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative
- Attention to detail and multitasking
- Team-player with focus on customer service and selling merchandise
