Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager in overall store operations and administrative duties across departments; knowledgeable in each product area; help determine methods to achieve store goals; uphold policies and standards; promote sales and promotions; provide exceptional customer service and create a positive customer experience; assume supervisory responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence; supervise staff, guide employees across departments, manage inventory movement and customer trends, and ensure profitability through effective merchandising, restocking, ordering, scheduling, and adherence to policies; protect store assets and financial information through internal controls and reporting potential fraud risk; drive staff development, training, and performance to meet store goals.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Experience working in a retail environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative
- Team-player with passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise
