Job Summary
Manager in Training responsible for assisting Store Manager in all store-wide operations, merchandising, scheduling, asset protection, and customer service. Supports departmental and store goals, trains and guides staff, promotes sales and promotions, handles inventory movement, and assumes Store Manager responsibilities in their absence. Demonstrates leadership, strong communication, and dedication to outstanding customer service to drive store profitability and a positive customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative
- Attention to detail
- Team-player with passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise
