Job Summary
The Manager in Training assists the Store Manager with overall operations, inventory control, merchandising, scheduling, and customer service across departments; trains in leadership responsibilities, store policies, asset protection, and promotional execution; promotes sales and merchandise while providing exceptional customer service and stepping into supervisory duties in the Store Manager’s absence; requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits
- Self-starter with initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Team-player with passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise
