Job Summary
Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) at VIP Automotive leading a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while learning VIP culture and management processes. Responsible for safety as priority #1, developing a superior team, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, certifying ASE credentials, proper scheduling, clear communication, and effective dispatching of work orders. Will participate in off-site training, maintain facility and equipment, ensure compliance with ethics and regulations, and support achievement of store performance standards. Requires strong people management, verbal/written communication, business acumen, and automotive servicing knowledge; two years of related automotive service management experience and relevant ASE certifications are expected. Pay type is salary; standard schedule is a five-day work week with minimum 50 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certification C1– Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
