Job Summary
Manager-in-Training oversees team operations to deliver VIP automotive customer experiences, learn management processes, hire and develop associates, ensure safety and compliance, coordinate scheduling and training, and drive execution of service standards. Key duties include leading a team, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, verifying ASE certifications for staff, managing dispatch of work orders to technicians, conducting daily huddles and meetings, maintaining service department conditions, and communicating with management to uphold ethical service practices and policy compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
