Job Summary
Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) at VIP trains to lead a team in delivering exceptional automotive service and customer experience. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a high-performing team, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, coordinating scheduling and communications, guiding technicians on work orders, and driving VIP programs and standards through coaching, LMS and ASE-certified training, and proper maintenance of the service location.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1– Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
