Job Summary
Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) role at VIP, based in Billerica, MA, focused on learning VIP culture and management processes to lead a team in delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring safety, executing VIP programs, staffing and coaching, coordinating LMS and ASE trainings, scheduling to meet customer needs, managing work orders and communication, maintaining the facility, enforcing ethical and regulatory compliance, and supporting the Service Manager to achieve targets.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
