Job Summary
Manager-in-Training at VIP, responsible for learning VIP’s management processes and building an Extraordinary Team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include hiring and developing associates, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, facilitating safety and compliance, managing scheduling and daily communications, guiding service- and repair-related workflows, coordinating with technicians on work orders, and participating in off-site trainings. The role emphasizes workplace safety, policy adherence, leadership development, and achieving VIP standards through structured coaching and daily operations. Strong people management, clear communication, automotive servicing knowledge, and the ability to oversee store operations are required.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
