Job Summary
The In-Room Dining Manager leads daily in-room dining operations in a luxury hotel setting, managing a team, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of food and beverages. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and supervising room service staff; managing schedules and performance; driving guest satisfaction through personalized service and issue resolution; promoting upselling via menu recommendations and promotions; overseeing inventory, equipment maintenance, hygiene and safety compliance, and budgeting; and preparing regular reports on service metrics and costs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years Food & Beverage leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of in-room dining operations, food safety, and service standards
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Familiarity with POS systems and financial reporting tools
- High school diploma preferred
