Job Summary
Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of Implementation Architects across SF and NYC, acting as the primary architect for your own customer set while ensuring implementations are on track and quality remains high. Own team delivery outcomes by driving consistent methodology for kickoffs, technical discovery, API design, and go-live, and serve as a senior technical resource to escalate and resolve complex blockers. Engineer and ship product enhancements like custom pricing models when needed to support customer requirements, while partnering with Customer Success to maintain smooth handoffs and long-term account health. Identify patterns across engagements to advocate with Product and Engineering for scalable improvements, contribute to documentation and reference architectures, and collaborate with Recruiting to support hiring and onboarding. This player-coach role requires 5-7 years in technical post-sales and 3-5 years in people management, with a hybrid schedule of three office days per week for NYC residents.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in a technical post-sales role: solutions engineering, implementation consulting, technical account management, or similar
- 3-5 years of people management experience, with a track record of supporting IC growth and holding a team accountable to results
- Technically proficient as an implementation practitioner with a strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and SQL
- Proven ability to translate between business requirements and technical architecture
- Strong communicator: clear with your team, credible with customers, and effective cross-functionally
