Job Summary
Manager-Imaging Services oversees the efficient operations of assigned imaging departments, ensures excellence in patient care, coordinates with medical staff and patients, upholds regulatory standards across compliance areas, leads quality improvement initiatives, and supervises imaging caregivers. The role requires supervision, instruction, evaluation, ability to operate radiographic equipment, move and transport patients, and strong communication to maintain service quality and safety. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and maternal-fetal medicine leadership experience at supervisory level or above.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Ultrasound, CT, Mammography, or Interventional Radiology
- Three years professional experience as a Radiographer
- Licensure: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Mammography, or Interventional Radiology certification or equivalent and active registration in Imaging Services
- State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice and modality of specialty
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completed course within 6 months in this position
