Manager, IIIV Design and Characterization

Job Summary
Own roadmap, execution, validation, and delivery for cutting edge laser and amplifier products across business verticals. Lead a team to transition devices from development to production while developing engineering requirement documents to ensure performance, yield, and cost metrics. Drive design for performance, manufacturing, reliability, and test using DFx methodologies, and oversee detailed characterization to provide iterative design feedback. Lead integration of IIIV devices into product by developing packaging and integration based on BKM, and define lot strategy to improve base design performance. Manage NPI and transition to high volume production with high yield and low cost, working cross-functionally to deliver devices meeting required specifications.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with leading teams and delivering cutting edge products
- Demonstrated experience with 4 or more of the following – NPI strategy, IIIV design, IIIV process, vendor management, qualification/reliability, validation
- Experience working cross-functionally to enable data-driven decision making
- Strong presentation, communication skills, and results oriented
- Experience with working with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting edge products
