Job Summary
Lead the Segment Accounting and Controlling team for Power Efficiency Solutions, managing two individuals focused on inventory, obsolescence, standard costing, and manufacturing plant support. Drive improvements in monthly processes while interpreting technical accounting for routine and non-routine matters. Collaborate with the PES Controller, Segment CFO, and cross-functional teams to provide business insight, minimize month-end surprises, and support internal and external auditors. Oversee standard costing, transfer pricing, and Oracle ERP enhancements, ensuring compliance with accounting controls and policies. Proactively coach the team and leverage data analytics to resolve ad hoc inventory and margin questions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant and progressive finance/accounting experience
- 2+ years in manufacturing sector
- Familiarity with General Ledger, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Inventory accounting and business processes
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, and/or OneStream
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Mindset of continuous improvement
- Ability to take initiative, be hands-on, investigate complex processes, and develop and execute innovative solutions to drive accurate results
- Ability to tolerate ambiguity, adapt to new situations and changes in direction, and devise ways to overcome obstacles to achieve finance and business objectives
- Ability to create a work environment with high standards of performance but where team members feel engaged and supported
- Commitment to coaching and mentoring staff to enhance the proficiency, competencies, and long-term development of the team
- Work Model: Work Model: You'll work in a hybrid model, onsite at your designated Regal Rexnord location at least 3 days per week (Monday–Thursday), with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days, including Friday
- Work Location: Hybrid in Milwaukee area
- Travel: 5%
Desired Qualifications
- CPA
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, and/or OneStream
- Has a mindset of continuous improvement and can embrace Regal Rexnord's 80/20 principles
- Proven ability to take initiative, be hands-on, investigate complex processes, and develop and execute innovative solutions to drive accurate results
