Job Summary
Manager IAM Operations leading daily team responsibilities to ensure consistent authorization and fulfillment of user access requests to core bank systems and data; manage IAM Operations and Services staff, SOPs, and governance with Security and business stakeholders; drive continuous improvement of IAM processes; oversee RBAC, SoD, access reviews, and audits; partner with IT/security/business to support IAM strategies; drive governance, reporting, incidents, and attestations while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations; ensure high-quality service delivery, training, and performance management for the IAM operations team; coordinate audits and risk mitigation efforts; stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements affecting IAM.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or Information Security
- 5+ years of leadership or management experience in a demanding security operational environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Preferred Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, IAM-specific certifications)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with cloud IAM infrastructure solutions (e.g., Azure Entra ID, AWS IAM, GCP)
- Experience with IT audit/compliance activities (SOX, SOC1, ITGC)
- Experience with ServiceNow, Workday, Azure DevOps
- Experience with GRC systems for IAM controls
- Operational leadership and service delivery management
- IAM lifecycle and access governance expertise
- Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls
- Awareness in IAM system integration including Workday, ServiceNow, PAM, Active Roles, AD, Entra
- Industry experience in IAM governance supporting JML and role mining techniques
- Direct experience in IGA support for app provisioning (automated/manual/hybrid)
