Job Summary
Manager I - Incorporated Materials Execution leads end-to-end procurement delivery for assigned material categories from project award through final site delivery. Responsible for team performance, delivery outcomes, and alignment of schedule-critical procurement activities; manages a team of buyers to ensure effective execution, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Operates at the intersection of construction scheduling, engineering readiness, and supply chain execution, utilizing strong schedule and critical path awareness to align procurement actions with construction sequencing and proactively mitigate delivery risk across a portfolio of concurrent EPC projects. Serves as the primary interface with suppliers, oversees PO execution, monitors SLA performance, and acts as escalation point for delivery, commercial, or quality issues. Responsibilities include handing off from Estimating at project award, validating supplier pricing and lead times, managing end-to-end PO lifecycle, DocuSign, delivery schedule management, BOM intake and revision control, engineering REQ workflows in Procore, procurement-side drawing workflows and version control, transition to future-state systems, and leadership of Buyers and Expeditors across projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 5 or more years of progressive experience in construction project delivery, procurement, or project engineering roles within utility-scale energy, heavy civil, or industrial construction
- 2 to 3 years of leadership experience
- Direct experience managing long-lead material procurement on EPC projects strongly preferred
