Job Summary
Lead and cultivate a team of engineers of diverse experience levels, including performance management and career development. Drive relationships with product teams and major stakeholders to prioritize impact across the whole platform while balancing competing requests. Run a lightweight process to pace work and support progressive delivery through demos and frequent iteration. Stay in touch with systems and roll up your sleeves to unblock the team by writing code or troubleshooting issues. Support internal and external customers to resolve issues and find systematic solutions that elevate the platform and integration experience.
Required Qualifications
- A backend engineer at heart
- Experience building robust systems composed of multiple services, data streams and stores operating at scale
- Significant experience with major backend technologies (e.g. Go, Python, or Java, PostgreSQL, Kafka)
- Experience with event driven architecture
- Experience with distributed systems
- Experience running platform services
- Proven ability to work closely with product and internal teams to deliver solutions at scale
- Passion to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Positivity and proactivity towards AI
- Experience using agentic tools for development and analysis
