Job Summary
Oversee a single site, account, or fleet by communicating with customers and internal teams to resolve personnel, customer, and operational issues throughout the day and when on call. Forecast freight and equipment needs to ensure seamless coverage while assigning loads, routing freight, and monitoring driver ETAs to meet customer requirements. Lead warehouse operations to resolve service issues, manage inventory, and enforce safety standards by coordinating resources and maintaining compliance with shipping policies. Manage complete P&L performance through cost control, expense management, and KPI analysis, including preparing mid-year reviews and annual account assessments. Select, hire, train, and develop all operational personnel while ensuring accurate payroll processing and customer billing. Work any shift to satisfy scheduling demands, including nights and weekends, and travel to account and company event locations when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- GED
- 3-5 years of Transportation/Logistics experience
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience
- military equivalent
- valid driver's license
- clean motor vehicle record
- ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends
- willingness to travel to account, customer, & company event locations

- 2-4 years of experience with J.B. Hunt
- 2-4 years of experience in the Transportation/Logistics industry

- Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
- Ability to adapt to changing environments
