Job Summary
Direct and assist Stewards to improve cleanup efficiency; monitor water temperature and chemical levels; assist with banquet plate-ups; support cooks and kitchen staff; provide items to cooks; transport and stock banquet and buffet supplies; return cleaned items to proper locations; operate and maintain cleaning equipment (dishwashing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing area, trash compactor); assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees; follow safety and security policies; ensure professional appearance and confidentiality; welcome guests and uphold service standards; communicate clearly; build positive relationships; ensure adherence to quality standards; perform duties weighing up to 50 pounds and navigate varied surfaces; perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
