Job Summary
The Human Resource Manager at our manufacturing facility will oversee HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and benefits administration. You will partner with management to implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, promote a positive culture, and drive engagement. Responsibilities include managing talent acquisition and onboarding, employee relations, disciplinary actions, investigations, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws; implementing learning and development programs; guiding compensation planning and competitive pay strategies; supporting accommodations, open enrollment, and leaves management; and collaborating with temp agencies for flexible labor needs. The role requires leadership, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to support a safe, compliant, and motivated workforce. Education in HR and relevant HR experience, with preferred SHRM-SCP/PHR-HRC certifications, are valued for success in this position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field (Preferred)
- 4-6 years minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience with Bachelor’s Degree, or 7 years HR experience without Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- SHRM-SCP (Preferred)
- PHR-HRC (Preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
