Job Summary
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the manufacturing plant's overall business strategy. Coordinate with enterprise HR to roll out enterprise-wide policies and lead organizational change management strategies. Manage core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance while overseeing training and development programs. Handle sensitive information with discretion and nurture a positive working environment through programs that promote company culture and vision. Perform other duties as assigned. This role supports ERMCO's mission to deliver resilient, sustainable power infrastructure across North America.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years' experience as an HR Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations and best practices
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Analytical and goal-oriented
- High ethical standards and the ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
- Relocation assistance available
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Ideally within the manufacturing sector or related industries
- Demonstrated experience using HR metrics to inform strategic decisions and develop actionable insights for improving HR processes and outcomes
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with overall business objectives
