Job Summary
HR Manager serves as the primary Human Resources Business Partner to company leadership and associates, coordinating day-to-day HR operations, payroll processing, and PEO liaison while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Responsibilities include guiding HR policies, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll processing, and HR compliance; supporting leadership with workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, training, and development; coaching on employee relations issues; overseeing onboarding/offboarding, HRIS maintenance, benefits enrollment, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws; and assisting with policy development and HR documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including payroll and employee relations
- Experience working with a PEO environment strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll administration and HR compliance
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Preferred Certifications: SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP, PHR / SPHR
