Job Summary
Manager, Human Resources for California offices overseeing day-to-day HR operations in the Firm’s California offices, partnering with office leadership and HR centers of excellence to set regional priorities, ensure high-quality HR service delivery, develop wellness and employee engagement programs, advise on employee relations, and ensure compliance with local employment laws; responsibilities include supporting talent acquisition through development, performance, and offboarding, coaching managers on people matters, monitoring HR trends to shape initiatives, and leading special projects.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in HR management positions
- Experience advising internal stakeholders on HR matters with practical, solutions-oriented approach
- Strong working knowledge of HR best practices and applicable employment laws and regulations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Keen attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Experience supporting HR initiatives across employee life cycle (talent acquisition, development, performance, offboarding)
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Experience with compliance initiatives and local California employment laws
- Demonstrated ability to manage HR operations in a multi-office environment
