Job Summary
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Vena Energy's HSSE Management System in Japan, ensuring consistent application across project and operation site teams. Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes, review report quality, and manage corrective action closures. Develop and test emergency response plans and business continuity measures, while performing regular site audits and inspections to assess compliance. Act as the primary HSSE focal point for development projects and O&M activities, providing guidance to teams and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Deliver HSSE training and support ongoing initiatives to enhance safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- HSSE Management System development and implementation experience
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis skills
- Emergency response plan development and implementation
- Business continuity planning from an HSSE perspective
- HSSE audit, review, and inspection leadership
- Stakeholder liaison capabilities (internal and external)
- HSSE training and awareness program delivery
- Strategic policy development for safety culture
- Experience with HSSE standards and local regulations
- Ability to manage project and operation site teams
